She`s going for a pj party! not.

This is gonna be the last post with pictures of my Cleopatra hairstyle. Looking at these pictures makes me wanna grow them back again.. i kinda miss it now:/ Anyway, the Bintan top is actually worn as pajamas(because it is such a comfortable piece of clothing) ,besides, judging from the tired and exhausted expression on my face,i`m sure u know why i decided to leave the house in pajamas. Thank God for the mustard coloured leggings from H&M and flower brooch from Cotton On Kids that made the whole outfit + my fatigue facial expression look livelier and more presentable. 

*p.s The flower brooch is finally mine and not my mommy`s one. haha

Birth of Pumpkin Swift

Heeyyy manxzxz! I`m back from turkey, prom is over and it`s time for Christmas and a Happy New Year! I`m so eggcited to show u guys most of the pictures of my new clothings that i`ve bought after my exams. They`re all from weid places, like the Zouk`s flea market ,Turkey and a shop at a secretive corner in Bukit Timah Shopping Centre. Most of them are first hand stuffs and the rests are thrifted clothings? Most slightly. Anyway, the few pictures below are taken long time ago.. i know i`m really late and slow..my bad AGAIN. )':

Blue top:Just Jeans

The colourful print sleeveless top below is a piece of clothing i sewed myself. Although the material may be a bit stiff but the combination of the colours(that reminds me of Dinosaurs ,for no apparent reason), makes the clothing look comfortable. Hence, i decided to use the material to make a top, since i love the prints so much and it`s for myself so it doesn`t matter if it`s not so soft. 

As for the blue skirt, it is also my creation. It is the first piece i did with proper measurements and drawings  on tracing paper, like a professional seamstress(; Honestly, i hate all the measuring, drawing, tracing, pinning, cutting and ironing. It`s so much work to do just for a piece of clothing but i must say that the feeling after completion is almost priceless. The work, effort and time put into making the piece of clothing becomes worth it, when people tell u that the skirt is so beautiful, and even ask where did u get them from and blahblahblah. The feeling is PRICELESS.

Similarly, the shoe is designed,painted and the sewing of the beads are done by me(; I like to call my creations Shien so from now on i`ll be calling my own clothings Shien,ogay? Anyway,i`m planning on working on my drawing skills right now.. have been visiting the library, borrowing books like `Teenage Vogue for..`(can`t remember the title of the book) and`Fashion Design Techniques` by Zeshu Takamura to master figure drawing in 7 days and to learn body parts & garment drawings. They are really inspiring and motivating books for people who are interested in Fashion. The library is going to be second home really soon!

He probably did not expect us to do anything for him on that day becos it was the first day of Olevels.But we ended up surprising him with a brownie birthday cake with a few relighting candles and a few of his favourite food, like rojak, teochew porridge,jiu chen gao(direct translation:9 layers kueh),peanut toast bread,tutu kueh and another kueh with peanut inside. My daddy is a big fan of chinese food...BUT becos he is such a wonderful and self sacrificial father, he took leave and brought his three princesses to Lawry,the Prime Steak. What an awesome father he is,isnt it?

hahah okay. Olevels is finally over and im soooo excited right now because i can finally play and do things that i enjoy without feeling guilty. It`s an absolutely wonderful feeling. whee!(: Anyway, the few up coming posts are actually 1 month late? yea...im terribly sorry about it...But no worries becos im already an alumni of St Nicholas Girls School, i no longer have to studystudystudy like a depressed child until the end of jan, when my results are out. i can blogblogblog like a free bird!

Anyway, the following posts will have many photos and less words,as stated above, they are pictures taken  a month ago so i probably cant remember what i did on that day/night because i was probably worrying for my exams and feeling guilty for not studying,most of the time. Another day, another set of clothings that i wore to church on a Sunday(;

The purple top is supposedly a dress for children. But the thing is that it was a turtle neck dress and Singapore is always 100 degree celsius hot(just like how my dearest cousin,Karen, would describe about the weather in Singapore) so i only wore it when i`m overseas. Besides,i am somebody that likes to keep my stuffs in the cupboard forever and never ever dump or give them away becos i just cant bare to part with them:/ so one day when i was packing my cupboard, i noticed the dress lying in a corner of the cupboard and hoped that i could still fit into the dress. While i continue to pack and arrange my clothings, i came out with an idea to cut off the turtle neck and the long sleeves so that i can make the dress into a tunic for myself! i just love to DIY my old stuffs...Anyway,recycling is goood and environmental!(;

Honestly, i really cant remember which day and what i did on the day when i took these pictures so i dont really have anything to talk about this post. really really sorry for this boring post:/

Guess i was feeling bored that night and decided to take some pictures with the flower that Julian,the gentleman, bought for me when i accompany him to some social night event on a Friday. Didnt know what to do with the flowers so i took a few pictures of it with my soft toys so that when it dies,i will still have a few pictures of it as remembrance of that rather 'strange/awkward' night...

As you can see from the very first picture above. my family spent another Saturday evening having picnic at ECP(: look at those calamaris,chicken wings, and bags of food/tidbits all prepared by my auntie and my parents. what a wonderful and loving family im blessed with,don`t u agree?

Nothing much to say about that awesome evening spent with my family, aunties and cousins because i cant quite exactly remember how i felt that day,except that it was a productive evening with the people i love(:

As you can see from above. Those two crazy couple above are my parents.. A pair of love birds that are rarely seen nowadays since divorce rates are incredibly high these days. Looking at how lovely and sweet they are everyday(well, at least seen from their texts) ,they have definitely raised the expectations of couples and being in a relationship. They are a pair of creatures that are about to extinct in less than a century time,at least that`s how i feel about marriage or even commitment towards boyfriend/girlfriend. 

oh well, whatever about love.

Next, i have more pictures to share with u guys that i took probably a month ago.i know..it has been so long and im only posting about it now. so sorry for the delay..but u gotta understand that im still in the midst of preparing for my major exam in less than ten days! whoohoo! so exciting, definitely i am. Despite of my busy revision schedule, i am proud to say that i am still taking the effort to snap a few pictures of my outfit when i`m out! Besides,who says that i cant do the things that i like to do during exams period right? teehee.
