SpunkPunkFunk if you dare!

The long awaited post is finally on Shien! I can't feel anymore excited to share all the pictures that Jen, Issac and I took on Saturday when i drop by the shop situated at The Central, #01-43, 6 EuTong Seng Street, Singapore 059817. SpunkPunkFunk is an amazingly quirky label that believes that people should dress to express, not to impress. Jen Su, the all-rounder local designer does styling, hair & makeup, makeover, fashion consultation, runway choreography, event coordination and last but not least, designing. Her passion. Isn't she Singapore's pride.

The funkalicious designer believes strongly that fashion has no disparity and she encourages people to try & express themselves because Fashion is no discrimination. Personality has more credibility than beauty. C'mon, somebody says amen to that, please.

Okay, enough of words, now get yourself ready to dive into a pool of craziness, quirkiness and happiness! Enjoy your journey into the WillyWonka's chocolate factory!*(Random)*Just enjoy k.
My favourite outfit!(Sports wear may be it,for me,soon.Who knows!)
Ha!(Jen's favourite exclamation)
You think that they only have clothings in the shop? No way. There are funky and unique glasses&sunglasses in the shop, catering prescriptions as well! Told you Jen was an all-rounder designer. Oh and the biggest secret is that these glasses are FREAKING cheaper than the one that you're wearing on your face now!(Well, at least that applies to me) So please, my lovely readers, I have found the best optic shop for you in town. I dare not lie.
Even more obvious than fake eyelashes, bring it on!
Customer of SpunkPunkFunk that bought two glasses because he just couldn't decide which one to get.
Red&Round, my favourite sunglasses!

Jen and Issac
Yesyes. There are the branded ones like Alexandra Wa, Karen Walker, Oliver Goldsmith, Dries Van Noten  and of course those that are brandless. However, do not be paranoid about the quality of the brandless ones because a lot of them are made in Japan.

Prices of clothings/jackets/bottom are ranged from $150-$500
              sunglasses/glasses are ranged from $150-$300
with prescription will be extra $30-$50 depending on your degree.

Moschino+Fishtail=Ariel

A mermaid princess makes a faustian bargain with an unscrupulous seahag in order to meet a human prince on land-The Little Mermaid
Top: MOSCHINO Lingerie
Fish tail skirt: ASOS
Clutch: Scape Flea
Metallic coloured Loafers: ASOS

Yes, Shien is obsessed with anything that makes her look like a mermaid...I think she'd might as well live in the ocean with Ariel for the rest of her life. Either that, she could take over Ariel's place as the Princess of the ocean while Ariel live with her husband, on land, happily ever after.

O how i wished...

So.I know it's really strange to wear a "lingerie" out of the house but you know what, it's so comfy, I don't even care about what it is anymore. Well, at least it doesn't look too much like a lingerie to me, even though the sight of the tag always reminds me that it's a Moschino LINGERIE that i am going to be wearing out. Besides, it would be really selfish of me to hide such a delicate piece of design to myself and the four walls at home. I'm sorry,I can't.

Also, do check out Moschino Cheap And Cheap's S/S 2012 collection because it's too healthy to be missed. Just the pleasant and healthy feeling by watching the models in 'fruits/vegetables' inspired clothings, designed by Rossella Jardinini ,can chase the doctor away!

Hopping into Dustbunny!

Welcome to Dustbunny Vintage, lovelies! So i have decided to start this "new" journey by introducing to you the most heavenly vintage shop in Singapore, located at the most ulu void deck of block 112, Bukit Purmei Road. Anybody wants to make a guess why Pia(the founder of Dustbunny Vintage) hides her cutesy shop in such a place? Well, that's because the rent at Bukit Purmei is so much lower than shops located in Orchard Road. Hence, she is able to share her lovely and precious vintage collections with the other fellow vintage lovers at a good bargain. Below are a few pictures of my favourite items in the shop so fasten your seat belt as i bring you through the journey back to the previous era(1920s-1960s)!

But do not worry or feel upset if you feel/think that you won't be able to fit into the clothings in Dustbunny Vintage because if you really do love a piece of clothing, there is alteraton service.

Fan Obsession.

Sleeveless Cropped Top:  Label less clothing:/
White Trousers: YUMEI
Heels:Asos
Flower Printed Fan:Orchid Chopstick

The different modes in the camera is awesome isn't it? I just love it when my eye bags disappear from my tired face.

Oh and i love to carry fans around with me these days because 1)they are so pretty and when my face/body gives out too much of the tired aura, the fan covers it up for me,as seen in the 2nd picture. Lol 2)Singapore's whether is so unpredictable, you certainly need an umbrella to keep you dry and a fan to keep yourself cool at all times. 3)Besides, fans can be used as an accessory. They're pretty awesome stuffs. Really.

One last advice if you want to invest in a pretty and durable fan, do get them from shops that sells mainly fans. The material and quality of the fans are slightly better.

Lastly, do get excited for the next post because i am going to show you the best/prettiest/awesome-est vintage shop in Singapore. Pinky promise.

Just one quote for this post. There is nothing wrong with you just because you haven’t yet met people who share your interests or outlook on life. Unless you are doing something unhealthy or destructive, take pride in your beliefs, passions, and values. Know that you will eventually meet people who will appreciate you for being you. –Alexandra Robbins, quoted in Annie Murphy Paul’s “Life After High School,” in the June 20, 2011, issue of Time
